As the Convener of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Ghousia Institute of Technology for Women (GITW), I am committed to fostering a culture of quality, innovation, accountability and continuous improvement across the institution.

Our focus is to strengthen teaching-learning practices, promote outcome-based education, encourage research and innovation, enhance faculty competencies, and provide students with the knowledge and skills required to excel in their professional careers. We believe that quality education is a collective responsibility that requires the active participation of the management, Principal, faculty, staff, students, alumni and industry partners.

Through systematic planning, effective monitoring, stakeholder feedback and evidence-based decision-making, IQAC strives to identify opportunities for improvement and implement meaningful quality enhancement initiatives. We are also committed to strengthening institutional processes and supporting preparedness for NAAC accreditation and NBA accreditation of eligible engineering programmes.

Together, we aim to create a student-centric learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, ethical values, employability and lifelong learning. With teamwork, dedication and a shared commitment to excellence, IQAC will continue to contribute to the academic growth and sustainable development of GITW.

About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Ghousia Institute of Technology for Women (GITW), Bengaluru, serves as a central mechanism for promoting quality, academic excellence and continuous improvement across the institution. IQAC aims to establish and strengthen a systematic quality assurance framework that supports the institution's vision of providing quality technical education and empowering women through knowledge, skills, innovation and professional development.

IQAC facilitates the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of academic and administrative activities to ensure continuous enhancement of institutional performance. It promotes effective teaching-learning practices, outcome-based education, faculty development, research and innovation, industry interaction, student progression and stakeholder participation.

The Cell encourages the adoption of best practices, systematic documentation, data-driven decision-making and feedback-based improvement. It also coordinates quality enhancement initiatives, monitors academic processes and supports departments in identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate corrective measures.

IQAC plays an important role in strengthening the institution's preparedness for NAAC accreditation and NBA accreditation of eligible engineering programmes, wherever applicable, through systematic documentation, performance analysis and continuous quality improvement.

Through collaborative efforts involving the management, Principal, faculty, administrative staff, students, alumni and industry representatives, IQAC strives to foster a culture of quality, accountability, transparency and excellence. Its ultimate objective is to enhance the overall educational experience and support the sustainable academic growth of GITW.
